Psychotherapy Training and Much More

Welcome to TheReachInstitute.org, home of The Reach Institute or Resource for Advancing Children's Health. The goal of our organization, and the reason for its founding, are inherent in its name; it is our mission to equip every community with the necessary resources to meet the needs of children with emotional and behavioral issues. From psychotherapy training to pharmacology, learning about the most recent scientific discoveries and applying those discoveries in a practical setting is critical… exactly what the REACH Institute offers.

We invite you to browse our website for various training opportunities. The Reach Institute provides training to pediatricians, family practitioners, child psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, nurse practitioners, school personnel and parent advocates that is centered on the latest scientifically established training procedures for children. From our Child and Adolescent Training Institute for Evidence-Based Psychotherapies (CATIE) to our parent empowerment program, the training offered by the REACH Institute is second to none with regard to quality, and advances the REACH Institute's important mission regarding emotional disorders in children. In addition to training, the REACH Institute is involved with a number of partners and projects to advance their cause. Take a moment to visit our current projects page to see what The Reach Institute is doing in your area.

Adolescent mental health training materials are available on the Resources for Families and Info for Professionals pages. These materials include books, many of which were authored by the REACH Institute's Founder, Dr. Peter S. Jensen, as well as profiles of behavioral and emotional disorders and information on treatment options and therapies. The REACH Institute's website was created to be a resource. We encourage you to continue browsing for additional information, and to contact us with your questions and comments.
