REACH’s “Evidence-based Approaches for Systems Serving Youth (EASSY) Programs”
In the spirit of true mental health transformation, REACH programs working together can reenergize of your mental health system by reducing no-shows, improving staff morale, reducing risk, increasing satisfaction, and improving outcomes.
EASSY programs offer front-line staff from systems serving youth (including child welfare, foster care, juvenile justice, school clinics, and primary care settings) —hands-on training in proven methods for identifying and treating children and teens with depression, suicidal thoughts, substance abuse problems, or other undiagnosed but severe problems. All organizational personnel as appropriate are assisted in using this information to make an appropriate referral for further evaluation and treatment, if warranted.
For more information about costs and opportunities for EASSY training for you and your co-workers in your setting, contact the EASSY training staff at eassy@thereachinstitute.org
